Recent Work
My recent work has been focused on developing a new form of brain stimulation using low-intensity focused ultrasound pulsation (LIFUP). Under MRI guidance we are hoping to target LIFUP stimulation on a variety of brain regions, including the striatum and hypothalamus. If demonstrated safe for human use we will be able to modulate deep neural circuits in the brain non-invasively, as could never have been done before.
