Johanna Yvonne Andrews, MMS Mentor: Dr. Rogers Recent Work Prior to joining the Friedman School, Johanna completed her Master’s degree in Public Health Sciences at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. Johanna did her undergraduate training in Health Sciences at Rice University after which she spent one year working as a research assistant at the USDA/ARS Children’s Nutrition Research Center in Houston, Texas. She worked closely with the Healthy Kids Houston Program and with the “Walking School Bus” program. She has also worked in Honduras and El Salvador. Johanna is currently working on a Study of Exit Strategies and Sustainability of Title II Programs (Kenya, Honduras, Bolivia). She also works with The GREEN Project and the ChildObesity180 Strategy.
