Interactive Game: Counting Carbohydrates

Introduction
People living with diabetes need to watch their carbohydrate intake for blood sugar control. On average, people with diabetes need around 45-60 grams of carbohydrates per meal. This equals about 3-4 carbohydrate choices at every meal.

*Using this game is easy:

  1. Create a meal by clicking the food items you would normally eat to fill your plate.
  2. Click the CHECK MY PLATE button to find out how healthy your meal is.
  3. Make changes by clicking your food or drink to remove them, then add new ones.
  4. Mix-and-match between the three menus by clicking the tabs in the upper-left.
